About Parish Episcopal School

Founded in 1972, Parish Episcopal School is a leading, co-educational (PreK – 12th grade) college preparatory independent school in Dallas, Texas, serving approximately 1220 students of all faiths. Inspired by its values of Wisdom, Honor and Service, the School’s inclusive Episcopal community guides young people to become creative learners and bold leaders prepared to impact our complex global society by realizing and fostering their passions in a warm, joyful and balanced learning environment, and engaging them in challenging core curriculum and strategic programs that develop and inspire.

Healthcare

Parish participates with the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest Group Benefits Trust for our medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability benefits. Being part of the Trust gives Parish and other Trust schools the stability necessary to remain competitive with our benefits & premiums. We have FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and HSA plans available through the Trust. The school also makes annual HSA contributions for those participating in the high-deductible medical plan.

Professional Development

We actively encourage professional development and provide opportunities for our faculty and staff to attend conferences, workshops, and specialized training. By investing in continued growth, we empower our faculty & staff to expand their expertise, explore new ideas, and bring innovative practices back to our classrooms and community.

Parish Excellence in Teaching Institute – PETI grants were established to support teachers’ efforts to rethink, revise, and improve their curricula and their classroom practice. Each year, faculty is encouraged to apply for grants to promote student engagement aligned with school priorities and initiatives.

Teacher Endowment – Through generous gives from friends of Parish, funds are available to be applied for to employees who desire to further their education.

Parish provides a strong educational foundation for over 350 students, so they can grow academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. Parish provides a balanced and joyful learning environment for our students. Our teachers and staff help children create the passions and skills necessary to accomplish their goals and dreams. With numerous opportunities to safely explore their world, our students can engage and connect with lessons in a hands-on way. 

Midway Campus (3rd-12th grade): 4101 Sigma Road Dallas, TX 75244

Originally  designed by I.M. Pei  for ExxonMobil, nearly 50 acres of grounds and buildings now serve students preparing for a life after college. Surrounding this central building are athletic facilities complete with two gymnasiums, playing fields, and the Gloria H. Snyder Stadium.

Lower School

With a strong foundation, children can build the passions, skills and talents necessary to accomplish their goals and dreams.

Middle School

Middle School is a time for growth, exploration and discovery. During these years, Parish Episcopal School offers a challenging yet engaging curriculum that further builds each student’s ability, with an emphasis on teaching children to become leaders and contributing citizens with programs that are shaped by the needs and characteristics of adolescence.

Upper School

The Parish Upper School prepares students for life after graduation. Regardless of their next steps, our constant aim is to equip our graduates with the skills and confidence needed to navigate a complex global society.
