The Athletics program at Parish spans from Lower School through 12^th grade, with well over 50 teams participating in a wide array of sports including:

• Varsity & Junior Varsity
• Sports Medicine
• Alternative (off-campus) athletics
• 7^th & 8^th Grade, school led teams
• PreK - 6^th Grade, parent-led fellowship teams

Parish Athletics boasts the first and only blue fields in Texas for its turf in Gloria H. Snyder Stadium, Carter Fields at Fleeger Stadium and Whitaker Field at Tadewald Park. These three fields, along with two additional multi-use grass fields, three gymnasiums (two at Midway, one at Hillcrest), a putting green, track & field event areas and pro-worthy weight training facilities, student-athletes at Parish have the chance to train and compete in some of the best athletic facilities in the Metroplex.

For Varsity and Junior Varsity athletics, Parish has 22 sports (12 girls’, 10 boys’) with 65% student-athlete participation in the Upper School. Many Parish graduates go on to compete at the collegiate level each year.

The Parish Athletic Booster Club (ABC) is a group of parents and friends committed to raising funds and awareness for the award-winning Parish Athletic Program (22 sports strong) and promoting team spirit, building a sense of community, and recognizing our Parish Student-Athlete’s participation, sportsmanship and achievement.

Parish provides a “Sports Fellowship” approach for our Lower School and early Middle School Athletics. The purpose is to ensure that parents are informed of the opportunities for their children to participate on a grade-level sports team and for all those who accept the invitation, finding (or forming, if needed) a team on which to play. When creating new teams, Sports Fellowship facilitates the formation; however, parent volunteer coaches are a requirement for a team to organize. These teams provide a full participation and fun approach for our students. The student will receive basic instruction and gain general game knowledge.
