Coach Swartz joined Parish Episcopal in the spring of 2015. She grew up in New Jersey where she was a top U.S.T.A. national player. Coach Swartz was recruited to play for Brown University where she was an All-Ivy Doubles Player and Captain during her senior year. Following Brown University, Coach Swartz coached the Rutgers University Women's Tennis Team while receiving her Masters in Education in School Counseling. While at Rutgers, she was awarded the 2009 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Women’s Assistant Coach for the Eastern Region. Coach Swartz continued her tennis coaching and education career in New York City where she served as a coach and counselor at all-girls private schools including The Chapin School and The Brearley School. While at Chapin, Coach Swartz won the 2012 AAIS Tournament Championship and the 2013 AAIS League Championship. In 2015, Coach Swartz moved to Dallas with her husband and joined Parish as the Registrar and Database Administrator as well as the Varsity Tennis Coach for boys and girls. She followed her passion for fitness and instilling that passion in children and switched over to teaching Physical Education to grades 3-8. During her tenure at Parish, Coach Swartz won the TAPPS 6A Boys' Doubles State and District Championships in 2017, and back to back TAPPS 6A Girls' Doubles State and District Championships in 2018 and 2019. Coach Swartz was awarded the 2016 TAPPS Coach of the Year.
