Head of Sports Medicine: Jeff Geier JGeier@parish.org
Jeff Geier grew up in Garden City, KS where he began his athletic training career as a student athletic trainer at Garden City Community College working with all sports. He then transferred to Texas Christian University where he primarily worked with football and baseball during his three years there, graduating with a degree in Fitness Promotion. He returned a few years later to complete his master's degree in Liberal Arts and work as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. His professional career has taken him to several states (Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Nebraska) where he has worked in numerous settings from clinics, small and large high schools, junior college, D-III and D-I settings, as well as the professional ranks.
Jeff is married to Dena and has three children - Jacobi and her husband Mason, Dagen, and Jesi. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and cheering on the Horned Frogs.

VISION STATEMENT
Parish Episcopal School Sports Medicine Program shall provide superior prevention, care, and rehabilitation services for our athletes. We shall strive to be a leader both academically and physically in the school and community we live in. We shall dedicate ourselves to the field of sports medicine.
MISSION STATEMENT
Parish Episcopal School Sports Medicine Program is designed to prepare students to enter colleges/universities and enter one of the various sports medicine programs. Even if you do not go into a sports medicine field, you will learn valuable information about sports injuries.
The Sports Medicine Program has 6 primary functions:
- Prevent athletic injuries.
- Treat and rehabilitate those injuries that do occur.
- Provide first aid and emergency care.
- Keep accurate records
- Maintain an organized and clean training room.
- Education of Student Athletic Trainers
Providing the highest-level of care possible for the athletes is our ultimate concern. We will abide by the guidelines set forth by the School District and TAPPS to provide this care. The education of the student trainer is also a major priority. We will provide educational opportunities within an environment conducive to learning.
We will strive to be a valued and recognized program of excellence within our school, local community, and surrounding school districts.
