Four seniors reflect on 7th grade passion project that dramatically changed recess at Parish.
The wood, metal and concrete structure that sits on the front lawn at Midway looks like any other gaga pit, but for some Parish Episcopal School seniors, it is a solid reminder of what happens when students find purpose in their passion. As 7th graders, Clark Mayer, Chase Barclay, Aaron Tidmore and Dustin Henderson were introduced to the gaga pit during a class trip to Catalina Island. Their excitement over the new game turned into a project to “revolutionize recess” at Parish.
