Parent Community

The Parish Episcopal School Parents’ Association (PA) encourages and enables parental involvement in the school by promoting fellowship among all Parish families and by providing support to our faculty and administration. The PA also works to raise funds that are distributed back to the school to help advance Parish’s educational goals.

Examples of PA-driven activities and events include the School’s Annual Bingo Night and Parish Gala, Spooky Saturday carnival, new family fellowship, volunteer coordination, and so much more. Volunteer opportunities may be found on our Parish Sign Up Genius page.  All Parish parents are members of the Parents’ Association and are encouraged to explore areas of interest and get involved to make a difference.

Grade-level Fellowship plays an important role in creating that strong community feeling we love at Parish.  Volunteers from the Parent’s Association plan both student fellowship events and parent fellowship events. Attending these events is a great way to get to know the families in your class and build life-long Parish friendships.

Our New Family Buddy program is designed to help each new student and their family join the Parish community.  Parent volunteers work closely with the Admission team to pair each new student with a returning Parish student based on interests.  The New Family Buddy is an excellent resource for our new families to answer questions, meet up and spend time together, and attend our New Family events together.  Each New Family Buddy is an immediate connection and friendship for our new families!

Support Panthers and their passions!  We have three parent-led Booster Clubs at Parish supporting Athletics, Arts and STEM.  The Athletic Booster Club, The Arts People (TAP) and sySTEMs plan fellowship events and actively support Parish students, faculty, staff and coaches throughout the year, all while raising additional funds for these important programs.

The Parish Dads’ Club is a volunteer organization of fathers of Parish students and alumni, whose goal is to support the School through volunteerism and fellowship. It is designed to be a unique and fulfilling way to share in your student’s Parish experience while joining in fellowship with other fathers of current and past Parish students.

ParishConnect links alumni with Parish community members in their desired fields, helping build networks and advance careers. Join our Alumni LinkedIn group to connect with over 500 active professionals, plus access resources from current and past parents and grandparents.

The Leadership Institute, part of ParishLeads, prepares Upper School students to make a positive impact by developing self-awareness, leadership skills, and the drive to think bigger and act bolder. Participants commit to three years of leadership growth through coursework, hands-on projects, and mentorship from volunteer alumni and community members.

The Ed Snyder Memorial Golf Tournament is a beloved Parish tradition. This annual fundraiser brings Parish supporters together for fellowship and golf while raising money for Gloria H. Snyder Financial Aid Endowed Fund and Parish Athletic Booster Club.
